Brandon Knudtson, owner of 7 Rivers Recycling since 2023, holds a bachelor’s degree in Recreation Management from University of Wisconsin–La Crosse. With a strong passion for sustainability and a deep appreciation for the outdoors, Brandon is committed to advancing environmentally responsible solutions and reducing waste in his community & beyond. Since graduating in 2017, Brandon has spent his entire professional career in the solid waste & recycling industry as General Manager at Hilltopper Refuse & Recycling Service.
Taylor Kohlwey
Owner
Taylor Kohlwey, owner of 7 Rivers Recycling as of Spring 2026, is a past professional baseball player best known for his time with the San Diego Padres. He played college baseball at the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse and earned Division III Player of the Year honors in 2016. He made his Major League debut in July 2023 against the Toronto Blue Jays. In Taylor's time outside of baseball, he would work part-time in the solid waste & recycling industry alongside co-owner Brandon K at Hilltopper Refuse & Recycling Service.
